Resistance Kitchen: Preserving Summer Food for Fall and Winter with Raina Robinson
Resistance Kitchen: Preserving Summer Food for Fall and Winter with Raina Robinson
Resistance Kitchen is a space for people who are organizing for equity, hope, and transformation in Washington Heights and the South Bronx, communities affected by food apartheid, to nourish themselves. Who is taking care of our Black and Brown community organizers? Who is feeding the movement? Resistance Kitchen is made of up of chefs of color who see cooking as a loving practice, food as medicine and also a place of trauma, and the kitchen as a practice ground to heal and connect with our body and each other.
