What is Earth Lab?

Earth Lab is an 8-week program for BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color) to practice healing our relationship to and being in reciprocity with Mother Earth, while understanding how white supremacy and racism have and continue to impact our collective survival.

In the program folx will be collectively be guided through the following topics and/or practices:

  • Plant Based Cooking and Nutrition
  • Composting System
  • Growing & Seeding
  • Plants as Medicine
  • Zero Waste & Upcycling
  • History of Land Struggles / Sovereignty
  • European Violence Around the World / Colonization
  • Climate Chaos / Environmental Racism

Each session will weave in political and justice-based education connected to the topic (i.e. past and current policies, campaigns, and coalitions).

Program Cost

The cost of the program is $300 - $500 per person. We are actively applying for funding to make this more affordable and/or free. If you are a white person who would like to sponsor Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color to be a part of this program, please reach out to us education (at)
